From 18 to 20 March, international wine and spirit industries met for their no. 1 trade fair, ProWein in Düsseldorf. ProWein has set new records this year. Around 60,000 trade visitors were at the show, which impressed us above all by the quality of the exchanges we had with participants and by its internationality: half of the visitors had come to Düsseldorf from abroad (133 different countries)!
In terms of exhibitors, 6,870 representatives from 64 countries presented themselves this year, allowing trade visitors to spend three days exploring the world’s wine and spirits offering. Major producing countries such as Italy (1,700 exhibitors), France (1,550 exhibitors), and Germany (990 exhibitors) were represented as much as overseas producers (700 exhibitors), especially from the USA, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand. This year, a particular emphasis was placed on the German wine industry.
The Export Marketing team was on hand to meet our many existing and prospective international customers, with a focus on showcasing the Amours de Gléon, Trésor Cathare and our new Albarino!
